Day 01:  Arrival in Kathmandu received by our staff and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu sightseeing and trip preparations.
Day 03: Drive to Jagat 1,450m – 07 hours journey.
Day 04:  Trek to Dharapani 1,860 m – 05 hrs.
Day 05:  Trek to Chame 2,720 m – 05 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Pisang 3,190 m – 05 hrs.
Day 07:  Trek to Manang 3,540 m – 04 hrs.
Day 08:  Acclimatization day at Manang with short hikes.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International airport, Buna Treks and Expeditions staff will receive you for short transfer in the heart of Kathmandu city to your respective hotels.

After a time for refreshment our guide will brief with information regarding your trek and your times with us in Nepal includes welcome dinner in a pleasant authentic Nepalese Restaurants with cultural programs.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour and trek preparation.
Morning our city guide will pick you for sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley, as Kathmandu although a metropolitan hub, but still retains its ancient culture and historical sites with World Heritage Sites includes ancient temples, monasteries, old king’s palaces after an interesting tour back to hotel, preparation for Annapurna Tilicho Lake trekking.

Day 03: Drive to Jagat 1,450m – 07 hours journey.
Starting our marvelous Annapurna Tilicho Lake Trekking with an exciting overland drive towards west as the journey leads on Nepal’s main and busy highway, and then our drive leads the main road towards North West to follow Marysangdi River upstream past warm and scenic farm areas of Lamjung district and then reaching at Syange village, where the rough roads climbs with views of waterfalls at Jagat a nice farm village with many good lodges for overnight stay.

Day 04: Trek to Dharapani 1,920 m – 05 hours.

Morning starting with first day walk of our adventure heading into cool forested area with views of Annapurna and Manaslu mountain range, walk continues towards Chamje and Tal villages located on a nice valley, after Tal another few hours walk brings you at Dharapani village for overnight stop.

Dharapani a nice village with Buddhist culture, located at a junction of Annapurna circuit and Manaslu trekking route.

Day 05: Trek to Chame 2,720m – 05 hrs.

After Dharapani walk leads into rhododendron and pine forest passing villages of Bagarchap and Danque, then at Timang village with more Buddhist cultured village including views of
Mt. Manaslu 8,163m / 26,781ft. From Timang village few hours trek leads to Koto and then to Chame town for overnight stop, Chame a large major town of Manang area and a head quarter town of the district.

Day 06: Trek to Pisang 3,190 m – 05 hrs.
From Pisang onwards walk leads close to mountains through alpine forests of rhododendron and pine trees, following Marshyangdi River upstream with short ups and down hills to Bhratang village. From Bhratang village walk follows uphill through alpine woodland to Dhukure Pokhari a small place with few teahouses and lodge overlooking Chulu’s and Pisang peak, with possible lunch stop, and then descends to lower Pisang village for overnight stop.

Day 07: Trek to Manang 3,540 m – 04 hrs.

Morning views of mountains, from here onward altitude gains as the walk leads through forest with short uphill and views of Annapurna II and III, Gangapurna Chulu’s and Pisang peak.
Walk downhill to reach flat valley at Hongde village, from here onward tree lines fades for barren, arid landscapes with cold, dry arctic climate.

Before Manang, visit old Braga monastery with old Buddhist relics, ancient wall painting and frescos and stunning views of Annapurna Himalaya, from here an hour walk reaches at Manang village.

Day 08: Acclimatization day at Manang with short hikes

A necessary rest day at Manang for acclimatization before reaching higher areas to Tilicho Lake and crossing high Mesokanto-la pass, in Manang short hike around Manang village, this is a large village situated on windswept valley by the bank of Marshyangdi River below Annapurna and Gangapurna mountain range, a nice walk uphill for views of Gangapurna Glacier and Manang glacial Lake.

Day 09: Trek to Khangsar 3,734 – 05 hrs.
After Manang village morning walk leads to another highlight of this trip, as our route diverts from main Annapurna circuit trail reaching one of the last village of Manang at Khangsar for overnight stop which lies on route to Tilicho Lake.

Day 10: Trek to Tilicho Lake 4,140 m – 04 hrs.
From here onwards around dry and arid country, morning walk  on downhill for some time, then uphill to reach Tilicho Lake for overnight stop.

Tilicho Lake a holy spot for both Hindu’s and Buddhist religions, offering wonderful views of snowcapped peaks in the comfort of nice lodge by the bank of beautiful Tilicho Lake.

Day 11: Trek to Tilicho Base Camp 4,800 m – 04 hrs.
After Tilicho Lake, morning walk further to remote areas of Manang valley, after a tough morning walk reaching at Mesokanto-La or Tilicho Base Camp, our highest overnight camp of this adventure at 4,800 meters high.

Overnight camp is set on a nice meadow, with chances of spotting some wild-life like antelopes, musk deer or elusive snow leopard.

Day 12: Trek to Nama Phu 3,510m via Mesokanto La 5,099 m – 06 hrs.
Today a long and Big Day of this trip! Starting the climb early morn to cross two high passes, over Tilicho pass then downhill walk to the base of Mesokanto pass, after a rest then climb over Mesokanto-la pass with steep climb to reach the ridge at 5,099 meters.

On reaching the top ridge and the pass descend to our overnight camp in a small place at Nama phu.

Day 13: Trek to Thinigaon 2,850 m via Kaisang- 07 hrs.
After the hard and tough walk, this morning an easy day trekking with downhill to reach at Kaligandaki valley with views of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Nilgiris peaks. This nice walk leads to Kaisang and continue further to a large village at Thinigaon for overnight stop, located above Jomsom and Kaligandaki Valley.

Day 14: Trek to Jomsom 2,715 m – 02 hrs.
This morning our last day of trekking of this exciting adventure, enjoying with downhill walk to Jomsom town, located above Kaligandaki River Jomsom a large spread out town of Thakali people and headquarter of Mustang areas which is on the famous ancient Trans Himalayan Salt and Caravan Trade Route of Nepal and Tibet.

Day 15: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara 860m. (20 mins scenic flight)
From Jomsom morning transfer to airport for short scenic flight to picturesque Pokhara for overnight stop by the serene Lake Phewa where most of the hotels and lodges located.

Pokhara, a popular touristic city, where the peaks of Annapurna Mountain range reflects on its beautiful serene lakes of Phewa and Begnas.

Day 16: Drive / Fly back to Kathmandu.
After a marvelous time on high mountains and scenic valley around north of Annapurna Himalaya, morning depart from Pokhara for the drive back to Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu check to your respective hotel with afternoon free for individual activities and shopping.

Day 17: International departure for home ward bound.
After a memorable time and great adventure around Annapurna Tilicho Lake trekking and your last day in Nepal, a country full of amazing views and Himalayan wonders, as per the flight time our staff transfers you for the final departure homeward bound.
