BUNA Treks & Expeditions presents an overwhelming experience of a lifetime, flying above Nepal beautiful landscapes of the green verdant valley, rolling hills dotted with farm villages and amphitheatre of terraces overlooking the array of snowcapped peaks in our joyful Langtang Heli scenic tour around Langtang Himal located within massive Central Himalaya range of mountains.
Langtang Himal the closest mountain range from Kathmandu, a mere distance of approx: 30 k.m as the crow flies, located direct north direction from Kathmandu Valley rim behind its rolling green hills with a great contrast of snow-capped peaks.
An exciting thrill with the pleasant ride of few hours swirling above Kathmandu valley within snow-capped mountains range, as the flight picks up above Kathmandu valley heading further towards rolling green hills, which encircles the valley, a nice way to view mountains and rural country landscapes in the comfort of a small chopper.
Langtang Himal region offers a range of cultures with main ethnic peoples living in are the Tamang, Hyalmo with the origin of Tibetan culture and Buddhist religion. In a southern section of the park lies a small area of sub-tropical chestnut forest, along with unique Sal forest. The hill forests (2000-2,600m) across the southern slopes of the park consist of Chir Pine, Rhododendron, Nepalese Alder, and Oak.
Heading further higher north towards Mountain zone at above 2,600 m 3,500m m are mainly Mountain Oak, fading to Silver Fir, Hemlock and Larch with various species of Rhododendron trees form a twisted and colourful understory where in spring the whole areas turn into the natural garden when flowers are in full bloom with riots of colours.
On higher zone where few tree lines survive with Birch, Fir, and Juniper. From 3,600 m to 4,000 m Juniper and Rhododendron shrubs slowly dissolve into expansive alpine grassland meadows. Were elusive snow leopard is still thought to comb the alpine heights for prey. The park is also well known for its populations of the red panda, Himalayan black bear, wild dog, Himalayan Thar, Ghoral (mountain antelope) with more than 250 different species of bird life.
Above the tree line, the valley opens up into a classical, glacial ‘U’ shape, bounded to the north by the impressive Langtang Himal, beyond which lies Tibet.
On this Langtang Heli Scenic Tour rewards you with range of central Himalaya range of peaks, includes Ghengu Liru (Langtang II 6,571m / 21,560ft), Langtang Lirung (7,425m / 23,765ft) Kimshun (6,745m / 22,137ft) and Shalbachum(6,918m / 22, 699ft) to the south, the Chimsedang Lekh forms a ridge of peaks which includes Naya-Kanga 5,846m and Gangchempo, Tilman’s beautiful Fluted Peak. Beyond it extends to the Jugal Himal, terminating in Dorje Lakpa (6,980m / 22,929ft). To the east the upper meadows of the Langtang end in a massive mountain wall, forming the frontier with Tibet.
Towards West views of Manaslu and massive bulk of Ganesh Himal mountains range, our Heli tour with shortstop to marvel the beautiful surrounding at Kyanjin Gompa which is above 3,870 m high surrounded with high snow-capped peak.
With time to explore the local Buddhist culture and its ancient heritage of Tibetan traditions and in origin, after marvellous time at Langtang valley heading back with a sweeping flight to Kathmandu.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE
Year of 2023 we group of people did a wonderful three weeks Manaslu Circuit + Tsum Valley Trek which is organized by Buna Treks & Expedition Company. This was an amazing experience and the level of service and support we received from the agency and its staff exceeded our expectations. Mr. Rudra director of this company, he is professionals and he is expertise of tourism industry, he advice for us was great and fruitful, each time patiently answered in clear manner all of my questions, the manager Sunita came to airport in Kathmandu for our Arrivals. The way she welcomed us was admired at the very first foot step in a beautiful country then checked in at the hotel. Second day we have done Kathmandu day tour with mit city guide Mrs. Prava, then we had a great dinner meeting with manager Sunita and guide Mr. Bikash. As the guide told us, we packed our stuff. Day 3rd departure from our trek. All Buna crew members Guide Bikash and Porter Chewan, Dinesh, Tholo Dai, have done amazing work. We all were happy to choose your company.
We will come back soon and recommend from the bottom of our hearts.

Gokyo Lake Trekking
Out of many trekking agency in Nepal, I certainly choose Buna Treks & Expedition pvt. Ltd. For the trek to Gokyo around high Khumbu within Everest region. I have been in Nepal for six times and finally found one of the best trekking agency Buna Treks. Within all the years of experience in Nepal I have used 3 different trekking agency which were not so good and far from my expectations.
Thanks Buna and founder Rudra, your trekking arrangements was so professionals, me and my teams all 14 people were really happy from your staff and with BUNA services. Your entire team are really nice, trekking trip and during our stay in Kathmandu hotel and Kathmandu city tour, every moments of our stay been amazingly beautiful. Tour in Nepal
I availed Buna Trek’s Kathmandu Valley One Day Sightseeing Tour and it was truly one of the highlights of my stay in Kathmandu. Rudra was a spectacular tour guide and knew the city and its history like the back of his hands. I particularly enjoyed Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. The tour was well organized and leisurely paced. The transfer from my hotel to the sites and stopovers were seamless and Rudra was very accommodating and cheerful during the entire trip. Rudra even took the time to accompany in Thamel to explore the area’s nightlife and cultural show. I also got to taste authentic local cuisine as per Rudra’s recommendation, and the food in Thamel was nothing short of fantastic! It was like having a local friend tour you in Kathmandu, making the experience worthwhile and truly memorable. Kathmandu may be a tiny city but its people and culture will wow you big time! And all of these I experienced because of Buna Trek and of course Rudra. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, I will be back for sure!
