Introduction:
Mardi Himal Trekking leads you into well-hidden mountain path within dense beautiful rhododendron and pine trees facing ever-present views of massif Annapurna Himalaya range of peaks including Mardi Himal. Mardi Himal Trekking located within serene wilderness beneath towering South Face of Machhapuchare Himal popularly known as Fish-Tail peak, due to twin summated tops one of the virgin and unclimbed mountains around Himalaya range.
Adventure to Mardi Himal trekking where walks take you beyond human settlement and villages in the complete wilderness of mountains and dramatic views of the high snow-capped mountain range since the area was exposed to the world at present the country gaining much popular trekking destinations due to its tranquil surroundings.
To start this marvelous adventure to reach at the foot of Mardi Himal where a short drive takes you from beautiful Pokhara city at the base of mid hills, and then climb to a ridge offering stunning panorama of whole Annapurna range with Manaslu and majestic Machhapuchare Himal in the harmony of local Gurung villages enriched with age-old traditional farm life and impressive cultures of Buddhism.
As journey progress walking on high hills and within smaller villages and then off the main trekking trails, diverting our route towards remote and isolated areas filled with lovely forest surrounding and then leaving the tree lines on reaching Mardi Himal base the highest spot of the adventure at above 4,490 m high facing exceptional views of mountains and landscapes.
After an enjoyable and exciting moment where walk leads on long downhill to reach at low warm farm areas for short drive back to scenic Pokhara by its Phewa Lake with wonderful experience and adventure on Mardi Himal Trekking.
Outline Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Fly or drive to Pokhara 860 m (30 mins on air) -06 hrs overland ride.
Day 03: Drive to Kande (1,770 m) and trek to Pothana / Deurali (2,125m)
Day 04: Trek to Low Camp (3,150 m) from Pothana / Deurali (2,125m)
Day 05: Trek to High Camp (3,700 m) from Low Camp (3,150 m)
Day 06: Trek to Mardi Base Camp (4,500 m) from High Camp and trek down to Siding (1,800 m)
Day 07: Trek to Lumre from Sidding (1,800 m) and drive back to Pokhara (1,400 m) by jeep
Day 08: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
Day 09: Depart Nepal for international flight home-ward bound.
Detail Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
On reaching Kathmandu international airport received by our staff and guide with a warm welcome then transfer to your hotel in the centre of Kathmandu city, after getting refreshed in your rooms join for group briefing regarding your stay in Nepal, where guides will provide information of the trek-local lodge-hotels-culture and other necessary information related to trekking.
Day 02: Fly or drive to Pokhara 860 m (30 mins on air) -06 hrs overland ride.
The morning after early breakfast transfer for a long drive of 5 to 6 hours of exciting drive to reach the scenic city in Pokhara, located Nepal Mid-West a warmer country but with incredible views of Annapurna Himalaya that reflects on its calm Begnas and Phewa Lakes.
On reaching Pokhara then transfer to a nice hotel by the lakeside of Phewa Lake, with to wander around the lakeshore full of stores, shops, restaurants and hotels. (Flying options 30 minutes of scenic flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu).
Day 03: Drive to Kande (1,770 m) and trek to Pothana / Deurali (2,125m)
The morning after breakfast take a short drive from Pokhara city premises drive to Kande. offers an incredible panorama of the Annapurna range of peaks with Machhapuchare Himal including Lamjung and Manaslu Himal with tips of Mt. Dhaulagiri along with scenic landscapes.
After time here with the views walk starts on a gradual short uphill within forested areas to reach another scenic spot at Potana village with many good lodges to stay facing views of Annapurna peaks with Machhapuchare Himal.
Day 04: Trek to Low Camp (3,150 m) 5-6 hours
From Low Camp, the morning walk leads higher on the uphill path with a steep climb to reach a pasture land for an overnight stop on route Mardi base camp at Low Camp also called Badal Danda, a high ridge with a couple of nice simple lodge facing super views of surrounding landscapes and mountains at close range.
Day 05: Trek to High Camp (3,700 m) from Low Camp (3,150 m)
From peaceful spot, morning walk leads with climb into dense woods of tall rhododendron-hemlocks-oaks-magnolia and pine trees, as walk slowly follows the hidden trails within tranquil environment with glimpse of peaks and then heading closer to mountains where tree lines stops for short alpine bushes and shrubs with dwarf rhododendron known as azalea, junipers and Burberry facing towering Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’ with Mardi Himal at close distance.
Slowly walk leads to high ridges at High Camp for an overnight stop, afternoon enjoy marvellous views of grand landscapes and snow-capped mountains.
Day 06: At High Camp for a hike to Mardi Himal View Point (4200m) and return to Low Camp 6-7 hours
Another overnight stop at High Camp, for a day hike to the base of Mardi Himal, as morning walks lead on the vague trail over the high ridge of Mardi Himal with a panorama of Annapurna Himalaya then reaching the base of Mardi Himal located beneath towering Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’. take breakfast and continue to trek to low camp. stay overnight at lodge.
Day 07: Trek downhill to Siding village (1,460 m.) 3 hours and drive to Pokhara (810m.) 2 hour drive
Trek to siding 3/4 hours walk, and then drive to Pokhara for about 3 hours. And then goodbye to your guide and porter in Pokhara after you get to Pokhara
Day 08: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Having early breakfast where interesting drive brings you back in Kathmandu, as drive departs from Pokhara (either tourist coach or in private vehicles), as journey leads past many nice farm villages and town, from Mugling Bazaar following Trisuli River for sometimes, and then on winding uphill to reach into Kathmandu valley as well back to your respective hotels.

Day 09: Depart Nepal for international flight home-ward bound.
Last day in the country of Himalayan wonders, after an amazing experience and adventure on Mardi Himal Trekking, and then depart from the hotel as per your flight time our staff transfers you to Kathmandu international airport for your homeward flight or to next respective countries.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE
Year of 2023 we group of people did a wonderful three weeks Manaslu Circuit + Tsum Valley Trek which is organized by Buna Treks & Expedition Company. This was an amazing experience and the level of service and support we received from the agency and its staff exceeded our expectations. Mr. Rudra director of this company, he is professionals and he is expertise of tourism industry, he advice for us was great and fruitful, each time patiently answered in clear manner all of my questions, the manager Sunita came to airport in Kathmandu for our Arrivals. The way she welcomed us was admired at the very first foot step in a beautiful country then checked in at the hotel. Second day we have done Kathmandu day tour with mit city guide Mrs. Prava, then we had a great dinner meeting with manager Sunita and guide Mr. Bikash. As the guide told us, we packed our stuff. Day 3rd departure from our trek. All Buna crew members Guide Bikash and Porter Chewan, Dinesh, Tholo Dai, have done amazing work. We all were happy to choose your company.
We will come back soon and recommend from the bottom of our hearts.

Gokyo Lake Trekking
Out of many trekking agency in Nepal, I certainly choose Buna Treks & Expedition pvt. Ltd. For the trek to Gokyo around high Khumbu within Everest region. I have been in Nepal for six times and finally found one of the best trekking agency Buna Treks. Within all the years of experience in Nepal I have used 3 different trekking agency which were not so good and far from my expectations.
Thanks Buna and founder Rudra, your trekking arrangements was so professionals, me and my teams all 14 people were really happy from your staff and with BUNA services. Your entire team are really nice, trekking trip and during our stay in Kathmandu hotel and Kathmandu city tour, every moments of our stay been amazingly beautiful. Tour in Nepal
I availed Buna Trek’s Kathmandu Valley One Day Sightseeing Tour and it was truly one of the highlights of my stay in Kathmandu. Rudra was a spectacular tour guide and knew the city and its history like the back of his hands. I particularly enjoyed Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. The tour was well organized and leisurely paced. The transfer from my hotel to the sites and stopovers were seamless and Rudra was very accommodating and cheerful during the entire trip. Rudra even took the time to accompany in Thamel to explore the area’s nightlife and cultural show. I also got to taste authentic local cuisine as per Rudra’s recommendation, and the food in Thamel was nothing short of fantastic! It was like having a local friend tour you in Kathmandu, making the experience worthwhile and truly memorable. Kathmandu may be a tiny city but its people and culture will wow you big time! And all of these I experienced because of Buna Trek and of course Rudra. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience, I will be back for sure!
